SI's End of the Year Awards
Here is Sports Illustrated's year-end awards, and you might want to see who won AL MVP here. I won't say who...but this is the way the debate should end.
Have you checked out Jayson Stark's awards? Most of the picks are fine, but there's no way in hell Morneau should win MVP (as biased as I may be donning my Yankee cap). If I'm giving it to anyone wearing a Twins uniform, it's Johan, and that's saying something considering he's only in there every 5th day. This is Jeter's year, and I will be sorely disappointed if he is not rewarded as such.
Welcome to All-Star Blog, the survival story of a Yankees fan living in Boston and the daily struggle to exist in Sox Nation.
After writing for the Hartford Courant and several smaller publications, as well as a stint with ESPN Comm, my recent move to Beantown led me to shift my blog's focus. Please look around, and feel free to share your own stories. Because love it or hate it, the Yanks-Sox feud will never be settled. Until the Sox admit defeat.
